The Superchips F5 Flashpaq Performance Tuner (PN 3846) is engineered to enhance the performance of 2015-2017 Ram 1500 models equipped with the 5.7L HEMI engine and 8-speed automatic transmission. This handheld tuner provides an estimated 20-25 rear-wheel horsepower increase when using premium fuel, along with optimized transmission control for improved drivability. A standout feature is Superchips' innovative PCM swap program, which allows for tuning without vehicle downtime. Owners can either cross-ship a pre-unlocked PCM or send in their factory PCM for unlocking, ensuring a quick and hassle-free upgrade process. The tuner offers various fuel tunes, including options for 87 octane and premium fuel, and allows for the disabling of the Multi-Displacement System (MDS) for consistent V8 power delivery. Beyond performance gains, the Flashpaq F5 includes essential diagnostic capabilities. It can read and clear diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) directly from the device. The tuner also features speedometer correction for changes in tire size or gear ratio, and speed/rev limiter options, depending on vehicle fitment. Its increased memory allows for faster processing, and the 2.8-inch high-definition color screen with a redesigned graphic interface ensures an improved user experience.
