This upgraded pipe offers increased airflow and stability.

The FTP Motorsport F56 Charge Pipe Lite is engineered to address the shortcomings of the factory charge air line found on BMW transverse engines. The OEM part, often a single-layer silicone hose, is susceptible to contraction at higher RPMs, which reduces airflow and can lead to cracks and leaks, ultimately causing a loss in boost pressure. This upgraded charge pipe from FTP Motorsport provides a more rugged and reliable solution. Constructed with increased caliber and featuring durable 3-ply silicone couplers, this charge pipe is designed to prevent leaks and maintain consistent boost pressure. It offers increased airflow and boost stability, serving as a direct OEM replacement for part numbers 11618511338 and 11614753651. The kit includes the FTP silicone hose, clamp, C-clip, and O-ring, making it ready for installation. A bung for water injection is also included, offering an additional performance enhancement option. Installation is described as easy, with the option for DIY or dealer installation. This charge pipe is suitable for a variety of gasoline and diesel models equipped with B37, B38, B46, B47, and B48 engines.
