The MMR Performance intercooler is engineered for the MINI Cooper S F56 models, aiming to substantially reduce charge air temperatures and consequently boost power and torque output. It utilizes a large tube and fin stepped core, boasting nearly double the volume and a 70% greater frontal area compared to the OE unit. Internal tabulators within the core and CFD-optimized end tanks work together to improve cooling efficiency and maintain optimal airflow across the intercooler. Despite its increased size, the upgraded unit weighs only 9.2kg. Key features include a substantial temperature drop across the core with minimal impact on pressure drop, an anti-corrosive thermal coating for durability, and a direct bolt-on installation that requires no cutting or permanent vehicle modification. The core dimensions are 580mm x 231mm x 110mm. This intercooler is specifically designed for B46 and B48 engines. It does not fit the Mini F57 models and the fitment is for the F5x Cooper S series. It is compatible with various MINI models including Cooper Hatchback F56 2-Door (2014-2024) S 2.0L Turbo, MINI Clubman S, MINI Clubman S ALL4, MINI S, and MINI S ALL4 across a range of model years from 2014 to 2024.
