F8x BMW M2C/M3/M4 Downpipes w/ GESI Cats

The Active Autowerke F8x BMW M2C / M3 / M4 Downpipes are engineered to enhance the performance of your BMW F87 M2C, F80 M3, and F82 M4. These downpipes incorporate a pair of 4" GESI G-Sport High Output Catalytic Converters (Gen 2 Advanced), designed to minimize emissions and prevent Check Engine Lights (CEL). The GESI converters are EPA registered and OBD2 compliant, suitable for use in 49 states on vehicles from 1996 onwards. Constructed from full 304 stainless steel, including the substrate, these downpipes utilize GESI's proprietary precious metal loading technology for reduced emissions and high flow capacity. They are rated for engines producing 500 to 850 horsepower and can reach operational efficiency within 9 seconds of startup. The design offers a less restrictive flow, allowing for quicker turbo spool, improved low-end and mid-range performance, and potentially higher boost levels. Installation is straightforward, with a direct bolt-on design requiring no cutting or welding, and the downpipes accept OEM O2 sensor heat shields. The construction features TIG-welded 304 stainless steel and a cast upper stainless steel V-Band for precise fitment. A 5-year/50,000-mile warranty covers the shell and tube ends, with a 2-year/25,000-mile warranty on the catalytic core. However, excessive burble beyond stock levels will void the warranty. It is important to note that these catalytic converters are not legal for use in California. Crucially, these downpipes do NOT require a performance tune for installation and operation, simplifying the upgrade process.
