This F9B-9 series flexible impeller pump is self-priming, designed for raw water pumping needs in marine applications. It can pass large solids without clogging and is built for the demands of engine manufacturers, designed for flange-mounting at a power take-off on the engine. Constructed from marine quality bronze and stainless steel for reliability, it features a single moving part: a flexible impeller lubricated by the pumped liquid. It avoids metal-to-metal pumping action, preventing jamming, clogging, or noise, and will not air lock. The pump delivers a smooth, pulsation-free flow. The flexible impeller requires liquid lubrication to prevent rapid degradation; the pump must be primed on initial start-up. It is self-priming at low or high speeds, providing instant pumping with a possible suction lift of 15 feet when wet and fully primed (suction lines must be airtight). Designed to be fully serviceable, components like the impeller and cam are easily replaceable.
