The EBC FA196 Standard Brake Pads are the world's number one selling organic disc brake pads, crafted from DuPont Kevlar to provide excellent stopping power without noise or rotor galling. As an organic brake pad compound, the FA196 series is more susceptible to heat compared to sintered options. Therefore, they are not recommended for spirited riding or track use where higher temperatures are generated. The "brake-in" material assists in proper pad bedding, but a specific break-in procedure is recommended for all new pads to ensure optimal performance and longevity. These brake pads are specifically designed for rear applications on various motorcycle models, including the Honda VT750 Shadow and VT1100T Shadow (A.C.E.) Tourer from the late 1990s to early 2000s. Fitment should always be verified with your specific vehicle.
