FA20 CD009 Clutch Line

The Chase Bays Clutch Line is engineered as a direct replacement for your FA20 engine, specifically when paired with a CD009 FAVQ transmission conversion and a Tilton Internal Throwout/Slave Cylinder. This comprehensive, one-piece line extends from the clutch master cylinder all the way to the slave cylinder, addressing common conversion challenges. The construction features a -3AN stainless steel braided hose with a Teflon PTFE inner core, ensuring high durability and resistance to a wide range of chemicals, including all commercial chemicals, acids, alcohols, coolants, hydrocarbons, solvents, synthetic compounds, and hydraulic fluids. This hose has a rated burst pressure of 9000psi. The line includes all necessary connections, including the M10 banjo bolt for the stock master cylinder. If you purchase the compatible Tilton Master Cylinder from Chase Bays, the 3/8-24 banjo bolt is included. An optional Tilton Delay Valve/Flow Control Valve is available. This can help prevent traction loss during downshifts and minimize the risk of driveline component damage, leading to fewer breakdowns and reduced replacement part costs. Testing has shown a significant reduction in drivetrain component failures, particularly axle breakage, when this valve is implemented on high-power drift cars. If the Flow Control Valve option is selected, the clutch line becomes a two-piece assembly, and the valve is integrated at the halfway point. While Chase Bays notes that race cars can still break parts, the integration of this valve factually reduces drivetrain shock.
