FA20F Oil Pickup

The IAG Performance Oil Pickup is engineered to be a direct replacement for the factory oil pickup in 2015-2021 Subaru WRX FA20F engines, including the 2014-2017 Forester XT. The OEM oil pickup is a known weak point, susceptible to screen dislodgement under high oil pressure and oil flow restriction, which can cause severe engine damage or catastrophic failure. This IAG Performance upgrade provides a robust solution. The housing is hand TIG welded to prevent any obstructions or overheating of the screen, ensuring a free-flowing oil path. This design eliminates the brittle nature of the OEM screen and the retentive ring, increasing the usable screen surface area by nearly 32% compared to the factory part. Furthermore, the IAG Performance Oil Pickup boasts a larger inner diameter oil pickup tube with thicker walls, significantly boosting oil flow capacity and durability. Its design minimizes the restrictive 45-degree bend found in the OEM pickup, allowing for unrestricted oil flow. The pickup tube is strategically positioned within the oil pan for more direct oil access, optimizing flow to the engine. All necessary mounting bolts and an O-ring are included, with no engine modifications or additional parts required.
