The IAG FA20T Motor Oil Pick Up Tube is engineered as a critical upgrade for the 2015-2021 Subaru WRX, targeting known failure points in the FA20F engine's OEM oil pickup. The factory component is susceptible to dislodging its screen under high oil pressure, potentially leading to severe engine damage or catastrophic failure by allowing debris into the engine. Furthermore, Subaru's original design can restrict oil flow, creating a risk of oil starvation. This IAG Performance Oil Pickup offers a robust solution with an enhanced design focused on improving both oil flow and durability. A key improvement is the screen's obstruction-free surface, achieved by eliminating welds and retaining rings. This design results in a free-flowing surface area that is nearly 32% larger than the OEM version, promoting better oil intake.
