FA24 High-Pressure Fuel Pump

The IAG Performance Spec FA24 High-Pressure Fuel Pump, developed in collaboration with Nostrum, is a direct-fit upgrade designed to enhance fuel delivery for FA24 2.4L engines. For optimal performance, it can be paired with the IAG Spec FA24 High-Flow Direct Fuel Injector Set, which provides a 24% increase in flow over OEM injectors. This high-pressure fuel pump is fully compatible with E85 and blended ethanol fuels, offering performance advantages such as cooler combustion temperatures, improved resistance to detonation, and increased horsepower potential. When properly tuned, the pump ensures a consistent and reliable fuel supply under the demanding conditions associated with ethanol-based fuels. In terms of performance, the pump supports up to 725 wheel horsepower on gasoline and up to 585 wheel horsepower on E85. It features a 37% displacement increase over stock due to its larger 11.67 mm bore compared to the OEM 9.98 mm bore, operating at a maximum pressure of 2900 psi. While tuning is not strictly required for installation, it is recommended for optimal results. COBB tuning support is available for various platforms, including the WRX beginning with 2022 models. Installation is straightforward as the pump mounts directly to the factory Subaru pump location using the same mounting base, requiring approximately one hour with basic hand tools. The pump operates with the stock ECU, but pairing it with proper tuning and supporting fuel injectors is advised for the best performance outcomes.
