Overview

The AVO Turbocharger kit is a base turbo kit designed for the 2022+ Subaru BRZ and GR86 with the FA24 engine. It includes a billet AVO2049/9 turbocharger with an 8psi actuator, ceramic-coated exhaust manifold and outlet, and a 3-inch crossover pipe. The kit also features a 3.5-inch bar and plate front mount intercooler with aluminum end tanks and black steel and silicone piping.

This kit utilizes a mechanical oil pump driven by the camshaft for reliable oil scavenging and includes a dedicated oil reservoir tank. It comes complete with all necessary water hoses, fittings, braided oil lines, a PCV valve oil catch tank system, a sports air filter with heat shield, and an OEM blow-off valve. The kit is designed as a bolt-on setup and is compatible with the standard fueling system.

The Avo full turbo kit provides a significant performance upgrade for the FA24 engine in the 2022+ BRZ, ZD8/GR86, and ZN8 models. The turbocharger is mounted low in the front of the engine for a lower center of gravity and supports up to approximately 460 PS. It utilizes a water-cooled system for easy temperature management and operates at a low boost pressure of 0.55K with premium high-octane gasoline. The exhaust manifold is ceramic coated, offering excellent heat resistance up to 900°C, eliminating the need for exhaust wrap. An AVO turbo oil pan and scavenge pump are included for proper oil management, similar to factory turbo setups. This kit has a proven track record with over 100,000 km of problem-free use in various international applications and has been used successfully in circuit racing. Key components of the kit include the turbocharger, ceramic coated exhaust manifold, turbine outlet pipe, 90mm front-mount intercooler, silicone piping, blow-off valve, and an air filter with box. The turbocharger itself is a 2049/9 billet unit with an 8 PSI actuator. The kit weighs approximately 30 KG and is designed for direct installation on a normal engine. Following installation, an ECU reprogramming with a separate ECU rewriting tool is required. Please contact Avo for further details. The kit is compatible with BRZ ZD8 and GR86 ZN8 models from 2022 onwards.
