Description

The Outfront Motorsports FA24D Forged Long Rod Shortblock provides a reinforced foundation for the 2022+ Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR86 by replacing stock components with high-strength forged internals. Engineered to handle increased power levels, this unit incorporates +2mm longer connecting rods and wider rod bearings to optimize mechanical stability. It is available in both a stock 12.5:1 compression ratio and a 10.5:1 ratio, the latter of which is configured for users running higher boost pressures who need to reduce effective compression. Each assembly is built using new OEM case halves, new case hardware, and a new OEM crankshaft. Rotating assembly upgrades include custom Carrillo H-beam rods and a custom CP forged piston set, supported by King Performance rod and main bearings.
