The Comp Cams 12-105-3 camshaft is part of the Factory Muscle Series, designed as a direct OEM replacement for Small Block Chevy engines (262-400 cubic inches, 1958-1998). This hydraulic roller camshaft operates effectively within a 600-4,800 RPM range, offering improved performance over stock. It features an intake duration of 195 degrees at 0.050 inch lift and an exhaust duration of 202 degrees at 0.050 inch lift. The advertised durations are 319 degrees for intake and 320 degrees for exhaust, with a lobe separation of 112 degrees. The valve lift is 0.390 inches on the intake and 0.410 inches on the exhaust. It requires the use of compatible valve springs, which are not included. Assembly lubricant is included to aid in installation. Specific engine applications include factory 275/300 HP 327ci engines from 1965-1968, various 350ci engines from 1967-1972 with different HP ratings, and is suitable for '58-'02 Chevy Small Blocks. Note that while many '87+ GM cars came with roller lifters, some trucks from '87-'95 had flat tappet lifters; ensure your block has OEM-style roller cam provisions if a roller cam is desired.
