Factory Race Series 3.0 Internal Bypass Shock

The BDS Suspension Factory Race Series 3.0 Internal Bypass shock is engineered to deliver race-dominating, position-sensitive damping technology in a hassle-free bolt-on kit for your 2018-2024 Jeep Wrangler JL. It features patented, position-sensitive internal bypass technology with regulated ports that allow fluid to bypass the piston during initial travel, then forces fluid through the piston at the extreme ranges of compression and rebound. This design provides a plush and predictable ride under normal off-road conditions while offering increased damping force to prevent harsh bottom-outs or top-outs. Constructed with a durable 3.0-inch impact-extruded, CNC-machined 6061-T6 hard-anodized aluminum body, these shocks dissipate heat faster than steel and resist corrosion. The aluminum finned remote reservoir, coupled with a Recirculating Reservoir Bridge, further enhances heat dissipation for sustained performance. Key specifications include 10.72 inches of travel, a 3.5-4.5 inch front lift height, an extended length of 27.7 inches, and a compressed length of 16.98 inches. The massive 7/8-inch diameter hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel shock shaft is designed to resist bending and damage from impacts. These shocks are designed to bolt onto your 3.5-4.5 inch aftermarket suspension lift kit, utilizing OEM shock pivots. A universal finned reservoir clamp is included. Please note that installation requires a front driveshaft.
