This thermostat has a sealing flange outside diameter of 2.52 inches and a flange thickness of 0.068 inches for a secure installation. It also includes a jiggle pin weep hole to help prevent air lock and improve coolant circulation. The product is an OE direct replacement, requiring no modifications for installation.
