The Standard Ignition TS-223 is a coolant fan switch designed to meet stringent demands. It features custom wax formulations that expand when heated to activate a snap-action electrical contact, transferring a signal to the fan controller. The switch utilizes a formed bimetallic contact arm with different expansion rates of two fused metals for precise performance.

This switch is calibrated and tested to confirm actuation at its specified temperature. It is manufactured with a focus on quality control from componentry to the finished product. The features include a male connector, male terminal gender, one terminal, and a blade terminal type.
