Overview

FAST’s Magnet Crank Trigger Kits set the industry standard for timing accuracy and are compatible with other brands’ ignition systems. Designed to correct timing fluctuations in high-RPM racing applications, FAST engineers replaced the traditional 2-Wire Inductive Pick-Up with a modern digital Hall-Effect design. This digital Hall-Effect Pickup, combined with Samarium cobalt magnets in the trigger wheel, delivers crankshaft rotation measurements accurate to ¼ of a degree from 0 to 13,000 engine RPM. The digital Hall-Effect Pickup is less susceptible to electromagnetic noise and its accuracy is unaffected by electrical system voltage variations (maintaining ¼-degree accuracy from 7V to 30V DC). It outputs a clean square-wave signal, allowing it to trigger ignition boxes directly or integrate with EFI systems such as FAST EZ-EFI 2.0, XFI Sportsman, and XFI 2.0. An integral LED simplifies timing calibration and diagnostics. Crafted from billet aluminum and black anodized, the trigger wheel and pickup brackets are durable. OEM quality braided wire wrap protects the pick-up pigtail, and a weatherproof Deutsch connector terminates the harness.
