FAST Fuel Injection Replacement Kit

The Z Car Depot 650-251 FAST EFI Retrofit Kit offers a modern solution for Datsun 280Z and 280ZX (non-turbo) models from 1975-1983. This comprehensive kit replaces outdated stock fuel injection components, including the ECU, airflow meter, and original sensors, with a user-friendly, self-tuning FAST EFI system. Installation is straightforward, with an estimated two-hour timeframe, and the system's self-tuning capability means the ECU will optimize engine performance within approximately 50 miles of driving. The kit is capable of supporting significant engine modifications, including larger cams, injectors, and headers, and can manage up to 650 horsepower. It includes the FAST EFI ECU, wiring harness, touchscreen interface, and all necessary sensors and adapters for the L28 engine, along with an AFM delete pipe. The original ignition system is not affected by this upgrade. Compatibility extends to the L28 fuel injection engine. It can also be adapted for L24/L26 engines with modifications to the fuel system (requiring high pressure) and the use of an L28 manifold with injectors. If your vehicle is not equipped with an oxygen sensor, a weld-in bung is included for installation into the exhaust system. Note that this system is specifically for non-turbo models and is not compatible with turbo cars. An optional plug-and-play fuel pump relay is available separately (PT# 800-1383).
