The 3M™ 401+ Masking Tape is a high-performance green crepe paper tape designed for critical paint masking applications. It offers superior adhesion to various surfaces, including metal, rubber, glass, and plastic, and removes cleanly without residue. This tape is highly conformable and resists paint bleed-through, creating sharp paint lines.

The green backing enhances visibility and accuracy during the masking process. It is ideal for industrial painting, including two-tone applications on vehicles like trucks, buses, trailers, trains, fire trucks, ambulances, and airplanes. The tape can withstand surface temperatures up to 250°F (121°C) for 30 minutes.
