Description

The Xcessive Manufacturing FC chassis to JZ Motor Mount Brackets are specifically engineered to simplify the JZ engine swap into the FC3S chassis. They are designed to work with a factory Toyota rear sump pan, such as the one found on an SC300. While these brackets facilitate the swap, some modifications may still be necessary for optimal fitment. The motor may not sit low enough to allow the hood to close without adjustments or spacing of the cross member. Xcessive Manufacturing offers a 1" front frame spacer, sold separately, to aid with hood clearance and provide additional transmission tunnel clearance. For improved stability and to minimize engine movement, it is recommended to use Xcessive Manufacturing's urethane motor mounts for the FC chassis (M-FC-UMM-S8). Additionally, if installing a twin-turbo JZ engine, be aware that modifications to the oil drain on the oil pan will be required to ensure proper fitment with these new motor brackets.
