The DNA Motoring P-BM15C15-01 is a high-performance replacement air filter engineered to boost your vehicle's performance and efficiency. Constructed with DNA's advanced FCd (Full Contour design), this filter utilizes a multilayer cotton gauze material that is flameproof and oil-impregnated. This construction ensures a high level of filtration, achieving 98%-99% efficiency while simultaneously improving air flow by 28.03% over stock paper filters. The filter's air flow rate is measured at 229.30 CFM, significantly higher than the OEM filter's 179.10 CFM, contributing to increased horsepower and acceleration. Installation is straightforward, requiring only the use of the vehicle's existing factory air box and reference to the BMW workshop manual for guidance. This DNA filter is ideal for the BMW 318I 1.5L L3 F/I (15-16) and is compatible with OEM cross-reference numbers 13717630911, 13718507320, and 13718511668. Its advanced filtration technology, inspired by the human respiratory system, uses static electricity generated by the oiled microfibers to effectively trap dust particles as small as 5 microns.
