FDS Front Mount Intercooler

The Integrated FDS intercooler is a direct replacement front-mount intercooler engineered for Audi B8/B8.5 A4, A4 Allroad, and A5 models with the 2.0T engine. This intercooler utilizes a dense bar-and-plate core and Integrated Engineering's proprietary FDS (Flow Distribution System) to significantly reduce intake air temperatures and eliminate heat soak, while also decreasing pressure drop compared to the factory unit. This leads to increased horsepower potential and allows the turbocharger to operate more efficiently. Constructed with cast and machined end tanks and precise TIG welding, this intercooler is built for high performance and durability. The kit comes complete with 4-ply reinforced silicone hoses for direct connection to factory outlet and throttle pipes, along with all necessary hardware and an installation manual. This intercooler is particularly beneficial for vehicles running Stage 2 software or higher, and is considered necessary for big turbo setups. It has been tested to support over 600hp, with a supported range of 650-700hp, depending on the specific turbo setup and operating conditions. **Important Fitment Note:** Vehicles equipped with Audi's dynamic steering systems feature a large cooling loop mounted in front of the radiator. This component obstructs installation of the IE FDS intercooler and must be deleted or modified to allow fitment. Integrated Engineering does not officially support this specific application, and users with dynamic steering should contact them for potential cooling loop solutions.
