Fender Mirror Set

The JDM Car Parts fender mirror set is a genuine Nissan NOS (New Old Stock) component specifically for the Datsun 240Z, 260Z, and 280Z models from 1969-1978. As a New Old Stock item, expect potential shelf-wear, scratches, or imperfections, as these are original parts. The set includes left and right side mirrors intended for symmetrical installation, mirroring the original production cars sold in Japan. While some service manuals may suggest offset installation, genuine Nissan fenders were factory-drilled symmetrically. Installation of these fender-mounted mirrors requires drilling. A 19 mm diameter hole will need to be drilled on each fender, along with a 5 mm diameter hole for the anti-swing pin on each fender. An installation template, sold separately, is available to guide the precise hole placement for effortless installation. Proper installation includes not over-torquing the bottom nut that secures and adjusts the mirror-spring tension, allowing the mirrors to flex when bumped. Mirror adjustment is performed by loosening the Philips screw on the back of the mirror; this screw should be tightened after adjustment to prevent the mirror from falling off during driving.
