Ferrea Competition Plus Intake Valves are designed for Ford 429-460 engines utilizing aftermarket cylinder heads. These valves are crafted from special aerospace quality alloys, including EV8-Z18, known for its high tensile strength. The manufacturing process involves an exclusive two-step slow forging to ensure proper grain flow and prevent material damage, followed by a 48-hour heat treatment and stress-relief period for molecular integrity. The valves feature avionics-quality hard chrome and a specially applied hard tip. They are competition-grade intake valves with a 2.300" diameter, 11/32" stem diameter, 5.755" overall length, and 0.250" tip length, featuring a 12-degree Super Flo-SVO/TFS design.
