Description

The Ferrea Racing F5079 is a high-performance stainless steel exhaust valve from the 5000 series. It features a 1.660 inch head diameter, a 11/32 inch stem diameter, and an overall length of 5.110 inches. This valve is designed with a 12-degree undercut and a dish head, and incorporates Ferrea's CrN coating for enhanced heat dissipation, friction reduction, wear resistance, and hardness.

Specifically engineered for Pontiac V8 engines, this valve is a direct replacement part for various Pontiac engine displacements including 400, 428, and 455 cubic inches. The CrN coating aids in rapid heat transfer to the valve guide, contributing to a more dynamic valvetrain operation.
