The Hawk High Performance Street HPS Compound Rear Brake Pads (HB508F.586) are engineered for drivers who demand more from their braking system during aggressive street driving, including repetitive and heavy use. These pads utilize a unique Ferro-Carbon compound, a formulation derived from racetrack applications but refined to deliver a progressive and comfortable brake feel for daily driving. Featuring a blend of iron, carbon, and titanium, these pads offer a significantly higher coefficient of friction compared to OEM pads, resulting in a 20% to 40% increase in braking power across a wide temperature range. This enhanced performance is achieved without the excessive rotor wear commonly associated with dedicated track pads.
