Overview

They are a one-piece, 100% mandrel bent and TIG welded design. These test pipes offer a bolt-on installation.

Show original supplier description

The Canadianautoperformance CAP-EXH-037 test pipes are engineered to replace restrictive factory catalytic converters on Audi 3.0T Supercharged V6 (3.0 TFSI) engines, aiming to maximize exhaust flow and power. The product is available in regular, black ceramic coated, and heat-shielded versions, with the latter two aimed at reducing heat and exhaust rasp. Installation is designed as a bolt-on process, and the test pipes are compatible with OEM and CAP 2.5" downpipes. For optimal performance and to maximize power gains, software tuning is recommended. The manufacturer also suggests using 180 Degree / Straight O2 Spacers, with a discount offered when purchased with the test pipes. Hardware, including gaskets and bolts, is included. This product is explicitly for Racing Competition use only and is not street legal, as it does not meet applicable emissions standards and is not CARB compliant. Users must be aware of and comply with all local laws and regulations regarding installation and use. The product is guaranteed to fit specific Audi models, including B8 S4, S5, A6, A7, A8, and Q5/SQ5, but importantly, it does NOT fit Audi Q7's and does NOT fit 2005-2011 C6 Audi A6 models. The company offers a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects to the original owner.
