FHR PISTON KIT BBC 454

Icon's FHR (Formed Head Relief) pistons offer quality and budget-friendliness. Valve reliefs are formed into the piston during forging. Many dome pistons feature a solid dome, allowing engine builders to machine for desired compression. Made from 11% silicon 4032 forged aluminum, they allow for tighter piston-to-wall clearance, reduced friction, extended piston life, and decreased wear. Features include mini grooves for heat transfer, UEM CNC-machined skirts, die-formed relief valves, an accumulator groove for ring seal, and included wrist pins and spiral locks. Note: Piston rings (5/64 x 5/64 x 3/16) are not included.
