FI AirGap Intake Manifold

The Hughes FI AirGap Kit, designed by Hughes Engines and manufactured by Edelbrock, offers a significant upgrade for 5.2L and 5.9L Dodge Magnum engines. This intake manifold is engineered to boost horsepower and enhance fuel efficiency by reducing intake air temperature by up to 30º, while retaining the low-end torque characteristic of the stock barrel-style intake. It directly replaces the factory intake, eliminating the common issue of leak-prone plenum cover plates. This kit is designed as a direct replacement for all emission-controlled, OBDII-equipped Magnum trucks, ensuring compatibility with factory fuel rail linkages and other components. It installs at the same height as the factory intake, allowing all accessories to bolt up directly. The package includes all necessary brackets, mounting hardware, intake gaskets, and bolts, requiring only a basic toolbox for installation. It also accommodates upgrades such as stroker kits, reprogrammed ECUs, and camshafts. The product utilizes thermostat housings with 2.90" on-center mounting holes, with options for HUG 1835, HUG 1837D, or the stock housing. Independent dyno test results are available, and coupling the FI AirGap with an SCT Tuner can yield substantial increases in torque and horsepower.
