Fidanza Aluminum Flywheels are made from the highest quality 6061 T6 aluminum, which provides excellent strength, heat dissipation, and weight reduction. The friction surface is made from strong 1045 steel and is milled to high specifications, allowing it to mate with any clutch material (organic, kevlar, ceramic, metallic, sintered iron). The replaceable friction surface is attached with military-grade aerospace fasteners, eliminating the need to replace the entire flywheel when worn. The ring gears are made from 1050 steel, heat-treated for durability, heated, pressed on, and secured with grade 8 button screws. Fidanza utilizes a stepped dowel system to lock pressure plate dowels in place upon installation. The flywheel comes with Base model 5-speed and Type-S 6-speed clutch patterns.
