The Racingline Filter Oil & Cleaning Kit (VWR120000) provides everything needed to maintain your Racingline performance air filter, ensuring it continues to deliver optimal airflow and filtration. Specifically formulated for Racingline's triple-layer Trifoam elements, this kit includes 500ml of cleaning fluid designed to effectively lift trapped dirt without harming the foam, and 400ml of filter oil to re-coat the element, enabling it to trap fine particles while maximizing airflow. Regular cleaning and re-oiling are recommended every 10,000 miles (16,000 km) or with a visual inspection at least annually. In dusty conditions, more frequent cleaning may be necessary. While neglecting this maintenance won't compromise engine protection, it can gradually reduce the filter's airflow advantage and shorten the foam's lifespan. Racingline suggests considering a replacement filter element every two years for peak performance, though a well-maintained filter can last longer. This kit is suitable for all Racingline foam air filter elements across the VW Group range, including Audi, Cupra, SEAT, Skoda, and VW models. Customers are responsible for confirming fitment with their specific vehicle and filter.
