The BMC Air Filter FB709/01 is engineered as a direct replacement for the factory paper air filter, designed to fit seamlessly into the OEM airbox of Porsche 911 models (991 chassis, 2012–2019). It is compatible with a wide range of variants including Carrera, Carrera 4, Carrera S, Carrera 4S, GTS, GT3, and GT3 RS. Constructed using BMC's signature full-moulded process, this air filter ensures maximum sealing and durability. The filter media consists of multi-layered cotton gauze, pre-oiled with a low-viscosity oil and protected by an epoxy-coated alloy mesh. This advanced media captures contaminants as small as 7 microns, offering superior filtration compared to standard paper filters and allowing for increased airflow with minimal pressure drop. This performance-oriented air filter is washable and reusable, extendable through the use of BMC's dedicated regeneration kit. Its design is rooted in motorsport research and development, providing enhanced throttle response and long-term engine protection for both daily driving and spirited performance. It is important to note that this filter is not compatible with specific GT3 models equipped with the Code 039 Touring Package for the 2018 and 2019 model years.
