The Nismo Finned Differential Cover is constructed from lightweight, high-grade aluminum and features a finned heat sink design to actively dissipate heat from the differential fluid. This improved cooling is particularly beneficial for track use, vehicles with significant power upgrades, or extended periods of hard driving, providing an added layer of protection for your differential. The kit includes the finned differential cover itself, along with a breather (part number 38356-EV00A) and a mounting stud (part number 38354-0C00A) to ensure a complete installation. This differential cover is specifically designed to fit the Nissan 350Z and Infiniti G35, accommodating both 5-speed automatic (5AT) and 6-speed manual (6MT) transmissions. While this differential cover offers enhanced cooling and a distinctive aesthetic, it is important to note that it cannot be used on models equipped with four-wheel steering. Installation may involve dropping the differential to access necessary components, as noted by some users.
