The K&N 57-1002 FIPK air intake system is designed to replace the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing in select BMW models. This system reduces intake restriction, smoothing and straightening airflow to allow the engine to inhale more air. More air translates to increased power and acceleration across the RPM range. It includes a high-flow air filter and a heat shield that integrates with the factory fresh air tube.

The K&N 57-1002 FIPK (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) air intake system is engineered to replace the factory air filter and air intake housing in compatible BMW models, offering a significant upgrade in performance. This allows your BMW's engine to draw in a larger volume of air than the stock air filter assembly, resulting in increased horsepower and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The kit includes a K&N high-flow air filter and a custom heat shield that installs into the factory lower air box, connecting to the existing fresh air tube. The intake tube is meticulously designed with an aerodynamic profile to deliver a guaranteed power gain, and it also accommodates the crankcase vent tube. The oversized, tapered conical air filter is designed for longevity, with a service interval of up to 100,000 miles depending on driving conditions. Installation is straightforward, typically completed in 90 minutes or less, utilizing existing factory mounting points. The necessary tools include a screwdriver, ratchet set, and several wrenches. K&N's 57 Series FIPK systems are street legal in all 50 US states and are backed by K&N's 10-Year / 1 Million-Mile Limited Warranty. This air intake system is compatible with the following BMW models: 2000 323Ci Base, 1999-2000 323i Base, 2001-2005 325Ci Base, 2001-2005 325i Base, 2002-2005 325xi Base, 2000 328Ci Base, and 1999-2000 328i Base.
