FIPK Air Intake System

The K&N 57-1565 FIPK air intake system is designed to enhance the performance of specific Dodge Challenger, Dodge Charger, and Chrysler 300 models by replacing the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing. This allows the engine to ingest a larger volume of air with less effort, leading to increased usable power and acceleration across the RPM range. It also accommodates the factory air temperature sensor and crankcase vent line. The system includes an oversized, cone-shaped K&N high-flow air filter with a chrome top and a heat shield that utilizes the original air box space. Installation is designed to be relatively straightforward, typically completed in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. Required tools include a screwdriver, ratchet set, and several wrenches. The K&N high-flow air filter, made of cotton gauze, can last up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed, depending on driving conditions, and is washable and reusable.
