The K&N FIPK Gen II air intake system is designed to fit 1993-1997 Chevrolet Camaro and 1993-1997 Pontiac Firebird vehicles. It features a high-density polyethylene tube for increased airflow and a washable, reusable cotton gauze air filter. This system is guaranteed by K&N to boost horsepower and acceleration.

The K&N FIPK (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) Gen II is a performance air intake system engineered for 1993-1997 Chevrolet Camaro and 1993-1997 Pontiac Firebird models, including specific fitments for Z28, Formula, and Trans Am variants with 5.7L engines, as well as 3.4L Firebirds. The FIPK system includes K&N's signature oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter™, constructed with oiled cotton gauze media for high airflow and exceptional filtration. This reusable and washable filter is designed to last up to 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions before requiring service. A custom heat shield is integrated to protect the intake air from the high temperatures within the engine bay, contributing to cooler air intake and potentially better performance. The kit comes with all necessary mounting hardware and instructions, with a typical installation time of 60 minutes or less using simple hand tools. K&N guarantees this FIPK system will increase horsepower and torque, with specific gains of up to 18.3 HP @ 5331 RPM and 18 lb-ft of torque. The system is CARB exempt and street legal in all 50 states, indicated by CARB EO Number D-269-11. K&N backs this air intake system with their "No-Hassle" Limited Lifetime Warranty, ensuring coverage for defects in materials and workmanship.
