Hushmat Custom Vehicle Firewall Sound Deadening and Thermal Insulation Kit covers 100 percent of your vehicle's firewall from the base of the instrument panel to behind pedals. It reduces aftermarket engine, exhaust drone, road noise, vibration, and heat from the engine, headers, exhaust, and catalytic converter. The material is lightweight HushMat Ultra, and it enhances comfort in SUVs by insulating against heat and noise, making the interior cooler in summer and warmer in winter. HushMat claims to lower interior temperature by over 40 percent. It is easy to install, super flexible, easy to cut, requires no surface prep, and is peel-and-stick. HushMat is the manufacturer and claims to provide consistent quality and performance, unlike competitors who "manu-package." HushMat was introduced to automobile manufacturers in 1988 and was approved by General Motors and Chrysler for in-vehicle production.
