Standard fitment for open fitting chassis. Sump Oil Capacity – 5.5 Qts. Total Oil Capacity w/ stock filter – 6.0 Qts. Max Crankshaft 4.25”. Sump Depth 5.70” (rail to bottom of pan) compared to the GM Muscle Car oil pan at 7.75”. OEM fitment – OEM oil filter mounting, OEM oil cooler port provision, OEM engine NVH suppression, OEM flange gasket and sealing, proper structural rigidity and OEM bell-housing attachments. For use in common stroker LS swapped applications where chassis clearance concerns are not an critical issue. Fits most GM rear wheel drive applications that were originally equipped with a Small Block or Big Block Chevy engine and traditional rear sump oil pan. High-quality cast aluminum appearance with clean exterior styling in three finish options. Complete kit including sump baffle, pick-up tube, sump plug, oil filter stud & oil passage cover. Universal pan may not directly fit chassis without slight adjustment to engine location. Engine may need to be adjusted for cross member, steering linkage clearance, steering configuration and chassis type. Works with standard off the shelf oil filters: AC Delco PF48 or PF48E, Mobil M1-113, Wix 57060 and K&N HP-1017. Not intended to be used with engines that originally utilized a dry sump system. Uses OEM LS3 Dipstick and Dipstick Tube (GM 12669528 & GM 12625031). Designed to use a GM (GM Part #: 12611129) full length windage tray. Others may be used but depending on which full-length windage tray is used, some modification to the tray may be required.
