Five Star Torque Converter 2.4:1

The ATS Diesel Performance Five Star Torque Converter is engineered to enhance the performance of Dodge Ram 2500/3500 trucks equipped with the 6.7L Cummins engine and the 68RFE transmission, covering model years from 2007.5 to the current production. This torque converter utilizes an optimized factory stall speed and significantly improves torque multiplication, boasting a ratio of 2.4:1 compared to the factory's approximate 1.25:1. This enhancement is crucial for achieving peak engine torque, resulting in more responsive acceleration, superior towing capabilities, and an overall improved driving experience. It includes a billet piston with a patented flank drive tab design, proprietary ATS clutch formulation with unique bonding technology, and a redesigned spring dampener to support increased torque loads. The turbine splines are 4340 hardened for longevity, and the turbine and impeller vanes are fully welded. Additionally, it incorporates a CNC stator with high-flow windows for increased oil flow and efficiency, full roller bearing construction in high-load areas, a 4340 CNC-cut pump drive hub, and is plasma welded for maximum strength.
