FL5/DE5 Civic/Integra Front Mount Intercooler

The RV6 Performance front-mount intercooler is engineered as the first of its kind for the 11th generation Honda FL5 Civic Type R and 5th generation Acura DE5 Integra Type S. Developed over 1.5 years, this intercooler is designed to provide essential cooling performance improvements for vehicles utilizing OEM turbos, RV6 turbo upgrades, and other aftermarket turbo systems. The core utilizes a tube and fin design with square extrusions and internal vertical fins. This construction was chosen for its superior cooling rate, lightweight yet high-strength properties, and its ability to deliver an optimal cooler core without significant pressure drops. Compared to traditional bar-and-plate designs, this tube and fin approach offers a weight reduction and enhanced long-term cooling efficiencies suitable for demanding use and track conditions. Specifications include a core size of 27.50” wide x 7.00” high x 4.00” deep, weighing 24lbs. It features cast alloy end tanks with a raised “RV6” logo on the passenger side. The intercooler kit includes 2 O-rings, 2 top bulb fit rubber air seals, an acrylic “RV6” stencil, and a pry tool kit for installation.
