The Motorcraft FL910S is a spin-on canister oil filter engineered to maintain engine health by capturing harmful contaminants. It utilizes multi-fiber high-density media, which is 99% efficient, to minimize restrictions and maximize filtering capacity, even as the filter approaches the end of its service life. The FL910S includes an anti-drain back valve, crucial for reducing oil drain-back during startup and ensuring lubrication, along with a bypass relief valve for optimal performance under various conditions. The inside thread size is 3/4 - 16. As the only parts recommended by Ford Motor Company for Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles, Motorcraft filters like the FL910S ensure a precise fit and reliable operation. The coating is further enhanced with a special chemical (surfactant) to improve initial filtering efficiency and capacity.
