The KTuner Flash V1.2 is an entry-level tuning kit that provides a flawless tune without the hassle, offering multiple starter maps for various driving conditions. It allows for precise control of engine response, reducing turbo lag and improving low-end and midrange torque for a sportier feel and improved drivability. The system includes three research calibrations, programmed for 87 octane fuel, with optimal results achieved using 91 octane or higher. Key features of the KTuner V1.2 software include its ability to lock to a single ECU for alteration of settings, the option to return to factory settings and unlock the unit for resale, and the capability for datalogging and reflashing directly over the factory OBD2 port. It can store multiple tunes, including the factory tune, and flash them directly from the TunerView App. The device also offers on-board logging without a laptop, Bluetooth connectivity for peripherals and the TunerView Android app, and extended data parameters on certain vehicles. It can diagnose any Honda/Acura CAN vehicle, even when locked. Important notes for 2017+ Type-R models specify that the ECU must be unlocked to tune. Supported North American ECUs include specific part numbers for 2017-2018 and 2019 models. The KTuner V1.2 is intended for off-road research and development testing only; vehicles must be flashed back to factory settings before being driven on public roads. A wide range of Honda and Acura vehicles are supported, including various years and models of Civic, Accord, Fit, CR-V, CR-Z, S2000, Element, Integra, TLX, ILX, MDX, TSX, and TL.
