Flashcal+ Handheld Programmer

The Superchips Flashcal+ is a state-of-the-art calibration tool designed for Jeep Wrangler JK models manufactured between 2007 and 2018. This system provides a powerful combination of a smartphone application and a Bluetooth dongle, eliminating the need for running cables and offering convenient on-the-fly controls and data monitoring. It taps directly into the vehicle's OBD-II port for seamless integration. Key features include a CRAWL Screen for live, on-the-fly adjustments such as Front and Rear Differential Lock, TPMS adjustment, and Engine RPM idle up. The Tire Size Wizard simplifies speedometer calibration by using your phone's GPS signal, allowing for automatic correction of speedometer readings for tire upgrades between 26” and 42”. The device also allows for speedometer recalibration based on axle gear and T-case ratios ranging from 2.73 to 5.38:1. Additional functions include live data monitoring with a customizable gauge display, the ability to read and clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), and service options for home repairs like ABS Initialization, Brake Pedal Relearn, and Cam/Crank Sync. Module resets for ABS, BCM, TPMS, and IPC are also supported. Specific capabilities vary by year and trim level. For JK Rubicon models, it offers Axle Lock Rear with the T-case in 4-Hi & 4-Low. For 3.8L JK Rubicon models, it provides Axle Lock Front & Rear with the T-case in 4-Hi & 4-Low. The Engine Idle Up feature can be temporarily engaged for winching at RPMs between 500-2000. The device also allows adjustment of Daytime Running Light locations (Halo, Fender, Fog, High, Low, Turn Signal), enabling or disabling them, and activating the blinker's one-touch lane change feature. TPMS threshold adjustments can be made within a 22-56 psi range, with an optional TPMS disable function available for use with aftermarket wheels. It is important to note that it is not recommended to use the Flashcal+ on a vehicle that has previously had its tire size adjusted with a Tazer device.
