The Superchips Flashpaq F5 Tuner is a performance programmer engineered to extract more power and torque from your 5.3L GMC Sierra 1500. Beyond pre-set tunes, the Flashpaq F5 offers a range of adjustable parameters, allowing you to fine-tune your vehicle's performance to match aftermarket modifications. These adjustable settings include speed calibration for gear ratio and tire size (28-inch to 38-inch), shift points, shift firmness, Active Fuel Management control, fan adjustments, rev limiter, speed limiter, and transmission tuning. The tuner also features torque management adjustments. This device boasts a compact and ergonomic design with a high-definition 2.8-inch color screen and a user-friendly graphic interface, making it easy to navigate and store. It connects to your vehicle via the OBD-II port and can be updated via PC/Windows connection for the latest software and calibration files. Additionally, the Flashpaq F5 functions as a diagnostic tool, capable of reading and clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). Installation is straightforward, typically taking around 15 minutes, and is described as simple for anyone. When you load a Superchips tune, the tuner automatically backs up your original factory settings, allowing for easy restoration if needed, which is convenient for dealership visits under warranty. This tuner is 50-state legal and carries the EO Number D-802-19. It is important to note that E-assist and hybrid vehicles are not supported.
