The Hondata FlashPro is a hardware and software solution designed for user tuning and extensive datalogging on the Honda Civic Type R (FK8) 2.0 Turbo. It connects via a USB 2.0 port to the vehicle's OBDII diagnostic port and works with the included FlashProManager Windows software. This interface allows you to tune your engine computer for modifications such as intakes, exhausts, higher octane fuel, and higher boost levels. The FlashProManager software comes with pre-loaded calibrations to suit various setups, and the device offers robust datalogging capabilities to monitor engine performance and response. It features dual calibration storage, custom laptop gauges, and password security for the ECU. The unit is designed, manufactured, and assembled in the USA, emphasizing reliability through local assembly and stringent quality control. Important notes regarding installation and legality are provided. The ECU must be "jail-broken" before the FlashPro will function; a service that is offered. Additionally, within the USA, this product is legal only for racing vehicles and may never be used on public highways. This FlashPro is restricted to sale to US/Canada addresses.
