FlashPro ECU Interface and Software

The Hondata FlashPro is a hardware and software solution for tuning the 2017-2021 US Civic Type-R FK8's 2.0 Turbo engine. It allows for advanced datalogging and the ability to tune for higher octane fuel, higher boost levels, and other modifications. The interface connects via the OBDII diagnostic port using a USB 2.0 or 3.0 connection and works with both laptops and desktops. Included is the FlashProManager software, which provides capabilities such as checking and clearing diagnostic codes, custom laptop gauges, and dual calibration storage. For the 10th generation Civic, Bluetooth connectivity is standard, allowing real-time parameter display on a mobile device via the free Hondata mobile app. Software editing features for 2017+ models include speed limiter removal, boost, ignition, and fuel control, launch limiter, individual cylinder fuel trim, and advanced graphing with over 30 datalogging channels. Crucially, the FlashPro will not function until the vehicle's ECU is 'jailbroken'. Hondata offers an instant jailbreak service for 2017-2021 ECUs; 2020-2021 vehicles also require a separate jailbreaker device. This product is EPA/CARB compliant (EO D-742-3) and legal for use on street vehicles within the USA. It is restricted to sales within US/Canada addresses. The ECU is compatible with specific part numbers including 5BF-A03 to 5BF-A04 (US/Canada), 5BF-A21 to 5BF-A23, 5BF-A34, 5BF-X03 (Mexico), and 5BF-M03 (Americas).
