The Hondata FlashPro FP-FK8 is a hardware and software tuning solution designed for the Honda Civic Type R FK8 2.0 Turbo. It connects to your vehicle's OBDII diagnostic port via USB, enabling comprehensive engine computer tuning. This allows you to optimize performance for modifications such as intakes, exhausts, higher octane fuels, and increased boost levels. The package includes the FlashPro device and Windows-based FlashProManager software, which provides extensive real-time and stored datalogging, the ability to check and clear diagnostic codes, and custom laptop gauges. The FlashPro comes with several pre-loaded calibrations, offering a base map that is a great fit for various setups. It features 20 hours of on-board datalogging memory, security password protection, and dual calibration storage, allowing you to upload one of two stored calibrations. For 2017-2021 ECUs, the ECU must be jail-broken before the FlashPro can function; an instant jailbreak service is available. Note that for 2020-2021 models, an additional jailbreaker unit is also required. The FlashPro is designed, manufactured, and assembled in the USA, emphasizing reliability through local assembly and stringent quality control. Important usage caveats apply: Within the USA, this product is legal only for racing vehicles and may never be used on public highways. This FlashPro can only be sold to US/Canada addresses.
