This device connects directly to your vehicle's OBDII diagnostic port and interfaces with a Windows-based laptop or desktop computer via a USB 2.0 connection, eliminating the need for any ECU modifications. Key features of the FlashPro include live tuning, on-board datalogging memory for up to 20 hours, and the ability to check and clear diagnostic codes. The included FlashProManager software offers extensive customization options, such as editable ignition, fuel, idle speed, and VTEC window tables. For 2007-2008 TL models, advanced features like MAP sensor-based tuning, rev and launch limiters, expanded tables for forced induction, 4-bar MAP sensor support (up to 43 psi), and support for larger injectors are available. Fitment details are specific: The 2007-2008 Acura TL Base and Type-S models (both automatic and manual transmissions) are plug-and-play. However, the 2004-2006 manual transmission Acura TL models require an additional 07-08 TL ECU and a CAN Adapter and Harness Kit (which is now discontinued). The 2006 Acura TL manual transmission also requires an 07-08 TL ECU and the TL CAN Adapter Kit (also discontinued). Automatic transmission models for 2006 are not supported, and the 2004-2006 automatic TL models are also not supported. A laptop or desktop computer running Windows (XP, Vista, 7, or 8) and internet access for initial registration are necessary to operate the system.
