The Tunezilla FlashZilla v3 is a popular engine tuning device that allows users to receive engine tunes via email and upload them to their vehicle. It supports most vehicle model years from 2000 to current.

This device features 6 slots for storing ECU files: one for backing up the stock tune and five for modified tunes. It includes an OBD2 cable for vehicle connection and a USB cable for transferring tunes to a Windows computer. The FlashZilla v3 can also clear ECU fault codes and offers ECU recovery for reliable flashes.

The Tunezilla FlashZilla v3 is a widely-used device designed to facilitate the process of receiving and uploading engine tunes directly to your vehicle. It supports a broad range of vehicles, covering most model years from 2000 to the present. This tuning tool provides ample storage with six slots for ECU files: one dedicated to securely backing up your original stock tune and five available for storing custom modified tunes. It connects to your vehicle via an included OBD2 cable and to your Windows computer using a USB cable for tune transfer. The device is designed to work exclusively with 64-bit versions of Windows 10 and Windows 11; Apple computer support is not available. Key features include the ability to clear ECU fault codes and an ECU recovery function that ensures reliable flashing processes. It is important to note that DSG tuning is not supported by this tool. Additionally, while the device can identify most 2009+ vehicles via OBD2, it may not be able to read them directly; in such cases, Tunezilla will check its database for compatible ECU software, or your ECU may need to be read on a bench by a dealer. The FlashZilla v3 is VIN locked, meaning each device can only be tuned to one car at a time and cannot tune multiple vehicles simultaneously.
