Flat-Top Piston Set with 2 Valve Reliefs

The KB Performance KB151-STD is a set of hypereutectic pistons designed for Ford Small Block V8 engines. These pistons feature a flat-top design with two valve reliefs and are made from a 390 alloy with 16% silicon.

These pistons are CNC machined for accuracy, have diamond-finished skirts, and incorporate features like accumulator grooves for improved compression ring seal and mini grooves to reduce scuffing. Lock rings and wrist pins are included.

The KB151-STD pistons are suitable for high-performance applications including marine, drag racing, circle track, street, and towing builds. They offer advantages in compression-restricted classes by lowering oil temperatures and reducing combustion heat and pressure loss. Tight suggested clearances contribute to quiet operation and reduced oil consumption.
